Our guiding light, the foundation of knowledge, the true teacher who conquered the darkness of ignorance with the light of knowledge. A teacher who continued to teach and flourish as a knowledge provider even after retiring from official work. He was a man of great integrity in prayer and work.
Jane Gancis, his wife was a source of love and care.
In June 1982, Geepees [Gancis Peters Vidyapeedam] was started.
The Vidyapeedam was started by Gancis Peter himself to impart his teaching experience to the new generation. This parallel education and training center was a great relief to the residents of Sakthikulangara.
When a group of teachers gathered, the quality of education at St. Joseph’s High School in Sakthikulangara changed completely. The students achieved high success. The Vidyapeedam became popular with everyone. For the next 15 years, the Vidyapeedam continued its educational journey. During this time, his son Sathyaraj was with him as an assistant teacher. When new institutions were formed, Sathyaraj went abroad for a new job. Geepees had to be temporarily stopped. Old age was one of the reasons. The guiding light of the GPS navigation stayed with Sathyaraj. During the breaks from abroad, he was looking for ways to revive the educational activities of GPS.
During a long break from life abroad in 2015, “G-Soft Education” was started at College Junction, Kollam. In 2016, GSOFT was shifted from S N College Junction, kollam to Karicode, near TKM Arts College.
The programs included UGC NET, SET [Commerce, Mathematics, Computer Science], Distance Education with M S University etc. Initially, the students cleared UGC NET in Commerce and Mathematics subjects and then created a webpage called GPSathyansNETCoaching and shared information about the classes to all the districts of Kerala. Then GSOFT, renamed as GPSathyans NET Coaching Centre, was shifted to SN College Junction. Thus, today, Geepees is progressing through Sathyaraj.
GEEPEES has been recording successes since 2017.

In 2024, an MSME was registered under the name Great Score Solutions.
By 2026, Geepees has become one of the well-known institutions in the field of NET coaching.
Geepees’ activities also entered the technology sector, MATRIXHUB. It started conducting classes and seminars in the subject of computer science in categories such as Java, Python, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
Today, Geepees has started providing various educational services to students.

A web page called geepees.com has been launched since 2026 to bring Geepees’ activities to more learners, such as doubt clearing, exam preparation, guidance to face exams fearlessly, providing necessary tuition facilities, training to face fear, mental stress, boredom, laziness, etc. with complete confidence, providing psychological counseling to those suffering from addiction, creating awareness about higher learning opportunities, and helping to make better decisions.
